A retired Brigadier General, Jones Oladehinde Arogbofa, has been named as the Chief of Staff to President Goodluck Jonathan.
Presidential spokesman, Dr. Reuben Abati, confirmed the development on Tuesday.
Abati said the appointment is with immediate effect.
Arogbofa has authored several books
He is from Oka-Akoko in Ondo State.
He will be replacing Mike Oghiadhome, a former Deputy Governor of Edo State, who was relieved of his job in controversial circumstances.
