Deontay Wilder is set to face Dominic Breazeale next, much to the astonishment of Anthony Joshua.
The American has been ordered by the WBC to defend his belt against their mandatory challenger – who AJ knows very well.
Joshua knocked out Breazeale in the seventh round of his 17th professional bout in 2016, though the man also known as “Trouble” has now rebuilt and secured another title shot.
He will be Wilder’s 42nd professional contest and comes on the back of the champion having consecutive tough fights against Luis Ortiz and Tyson Fury.
Soulja Boy incredulously cried out “Drake?!” in response to a suggestion that the rapper is the biggest in the world.
Therefore, AJ incredulously cried out “Breazeale?!” to emulate him.
The chances of Anthony Joshua fighting Deontay Wilder in 2019 previously seemed unlikely.
However, Wilder has now given promising comments insisting that the clash will happen and entered talks with Joshua’s US broadcaster, DAZN.
