JNI condemns Nyanya bomb blast

The Jama’atul Nasril Islam on Friday condemned the second Nyanya bomb blast that occurred on May 1.
The organisation made the condemnation in a statement issued by Dr. Khalid Aliyu, its Secretary-General in Kaduna.
The statement quoted Aliyu as saying: JNI condemns this act of terror in strongest term. Such an act is unfortunate and painful.
“This deadly act happened on the day Nigerian workers were celebrating their National Day and reflecting on how to move the nation forward.
“JNI strongly condemns this barbaric act and sympathises with victims and consoles with families of those who lost their lives in the unfortunate incident.”
Aliyu stated that JNI wanted all authorities concerned to be more committed to their responsibilities “as no development can be achieved in a situation of insecurity, anxiety and chaos.
“Consequently, all hands must be on deck to stop these massacres before our enemies achieve their goal of destroying our country.”
The organisation prayed to almighty Allah to bring an end to the evil act, as well as expose and disgrace the perpetrators.
JNI also prayed to Allah to grant the nation lasting peace, security, harmonious co-existence and a promising future full of happiness and development.
The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Abubakar Sa’ad, is the leader of JNI.
