The Supreme Court has adjourned hearing in the case brought before it by a former Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, and his party, Peoples Democratic Party.
Ihedioha and the PDP are seeking a review of the ruling of the apex court in regard to the governorship election in the state, which awarded victory to the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Hope Uzodinma.
The seven-man panel of the Supreme Court announced the decision to adjourn the case shortly after it commenced sitting on Tuesday in respect of the call for review in the cases of Imo and Zamfara States.
The panel, headed by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad, adjourned hearing in the Imo State case until March 2.
Other Justices on the panel are Sylvester Ngwuta, Kayode Ariwoola, Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, Inyang Okoro, Amina Augie and Uwani Abba-Aji.
