Sunshine Stars FC of Akure on Sunday lost, for the first time, at home to Kano Pillars FC in a Nigeria Professional Football League Week 14 match.
The game, which ended 1-0 at the Ondo State Sports Complex, saw Adamu Mohammed score the only goal of the match in the 82nd minute.
The interesting encounter produced little chances, with Prince Aggreh of Pillars being wasteful with the chances created.
Solomon Ogbeide, the Technical Adviser of Sunshine Stars, told newsmen he was not happy with the result.
Ogbeide said the team would have to move on and impress against Plateau United.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Sunshine Stars still has 17 points from 14 matches.
