The Special Adviser to Governor Jonah David Jang on Labour Matters, Barr Samuel Kwamkur Vongdip has called for sincerity, fairness and justice on the Plateau during the forthcoming electioneering campaign.
Vongdip stated this on Wednesday in an interactive session with some journalists at the NUJ, press center on the need for media to be objective in their reportage.
He challenged media practitioners in the country to place the interest of the nation ahead of personal interest.
Samuel Kwamkur commended NUJ for successfully conducting the council election and also congratulated outgoing exco for their effort inspite of security challenges.
He called on unionists to share information for a new guide that is currently being prepared by Governor Jang in transforming the state.
He said,government in its effort to better the lives of workers in the state resolved to support the drastic changes in all sector.
The Adviser tasked members of the pen to see themselves as promoter of peace.
