A chieftain of the Alliance of Collaborating Political Parties, Wole Adedoyin, has said that Osun Central Senatorial District deserves better representation as the 2023 general elections draw near.
The chieftain of the ACPP said the district was yet to feel the impact of its representative, Dr. Ajibola Basiru.
In a statement on Thursday, Adedoyin said: “There is no gainsaying with the fact that the Osun Central Senatorial District needs a competent, capable and committed representation at the national assembly.
“The members of the district have a Senator representing them but they are yet to feel his impact.”
According to the ACPP chieftain, many constituents of the district are still living in abject poverty and many youths without jobs.
Adedoyin added: “The truth is Osun Central Constituents are not happy with Ajibola Basiru’s leadership style. Being the current Spokesperson of the Senate has taken over his core duty of taking care of his constituents.
“Osun Central Senatorial district deserves much more in the area of infrastructural development and better political representation at the National Assembly.”
The ACPP implored Basiru to wake up to his responsibilities.
