Twelve nations have confirmed their participation in the forthcoming 2018 U-21 Men’s African Nations Volleyball Championship scheduled for Abuja from September 10 to September 20.
The 17th edition of the U-21 championship, the Vice-President of International Volleyball Federation, Amr El Wani, said the host Nigeria and defending champions Nigeria, Egypt and Tunisia have indicated interest.
Others Congo, Chad, Burkina Faso, Rwanda, Guinea, Niger, Botswana, Cameroon and Morocco.
El Wani, who doubles as the President of African Volleyball Confederation, said the arrival date for the championship is on the September 10, while the Technical meeting holds on the September 11.
Wani said: “This is to inform you that 12 countries have registered for the 2018 U-21 Men’s African Nations Volleyball Championship in Nigeria.
“We wish you and the federation all the best in the preparation and organisation of the championship.’’
