The University of Nigeria, Nsukka will on Saturday (today) honour the Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Garba Shehu.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Benjamin Ozumba, on Friday.
According to the statement, the university will also honour three ministers for their roles in nation building.
The statement added that the award is part of the institution’s maiden summit, with the theme: “Bridging the Gap.”
The statement added that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ojaja II, would be the Chief Host and the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Okechukwu Enelamah, will feature as the guest speaker.
The ceremony will feature alumni, top government officials and friends of the university, who will brainstorm and evolve a roadmap to drive the university to a higher pedestal.
