In the last few days, news was all over the media space that Fayose had paid two months salaries and Christmas bonus, including promotion of 15,000 workers and implementation of promotion arrears approved few years back as part of welfare scheme for workers

The APC said the bailout is different from the regular Federal Allocation that cannot be monitored by the allocating authority, stressing that the governor cannot hide under the constitution to abuse a special intervention scheme that specifically insisted on a set of rules for strict application of the funds for the purpose for which it was approved
It urged the President to ignore Governor Ayodele Fayose’s “insincere and infantile” comments on the abduction of the girls, explaining: “The governor is on his own in his reckless criticisms of the Federal Government over fears of repercussions on his ceaseless infractions on the law
Reacting to Fayose’s accusation describing President Muhammadu Buhari as Nigeria’s problem, the APC Publicity Secretary in Ekiti State, Taiwo Olatunbosun, said in statement in Ado-Ekiti that instead of describing the President as the nation’s problem, Fayose had proved conclusively that he and his party represented a bad advertisement for the practice of democracy, which is the precursor to good governance that encourages in-flow of foreign investments
Describing Fayose as a “shameless liar” for claiming on his television programme that there had never been harassment and attacks on the opposition since he assumed office, Olatunbosun said attacks on the opposition only stopped after Buhari was sworn in
In a statement in Ado-Ekiti by its Publicity Secretary, Taiwo Olatunbosun, the party regretted that the governor has not purged himself of reckless display of ignorance on matters that are taken for granted among the average educated Nigerians
Jackson had claimed in a press statement that he was attacked by armed men, who shot into the air, wounded him on the head and took away his phones, accusing the opposition APC as the brain behind the attack
Olatunbosun dared the lawmakers to take their protest to Abuja if they are not afraid of the EFCC, just as they did when they protested in favour of Fayose at some foreign embassies
The party said Fayose’s response becomes imperative following the refusal of the governor to declare his assets publicly, including allegations of fraud raised against him that he has not denied
It said while the six governors he had invited for the event were inaugurating fresh projects in their states, the governor embarked on rehabilitated projects and the ones he did not spend one naira on to be presented to the world as new projects initiated by him
Fayose had last week criticised the proposal by the Independent National Election Commission to establish election crimes tribunal to try individuals involved in fraudulent practices and violence during elections.
The Publicity Secretary of the APC in Ekiti State, Taiwo Olatunbosun, said in a statement at the weekend that union leaders had a responsibility to the work force and they had acted constitutionally in defence of workers
The APC said such a plan is capable of stoking anger among the citizens, APC members in particular, to cause a breakdown of law and order as Fayose wanted to assume the role of a judge in his own matter
The party’s Publicity Secretary, Taiwo Olatunbosun, said in a statement on Tuesday that Adesina’s appointment was a violation of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which stated that “no person can be appointed into the Judicial Service Commission twice”
The party accused the governor of blackmail, saying his fraudulent and pre-emptive tactics will not stop justice from taking its course in the resolution of the biggest electoral fraud in the history of Nigeria
