The Director of Media and Advocacy of the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, made this known to newsmen in a statement he issued on Sunday.

Among these are N45 million for a new year party, N20 million for sanitary pads and N1.5 million for fuelling a vehicle.

Those who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja said the move would bring relief to parents and guardians of the girls, considering current economic hardships.

The incident happened at Aleto community in Eleme Local Government Area of the state on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. 

Indonesian teenagers now boil used sanitary pads and drink the resulting liquid in attempts to get high, reports have said.
