Obi spoke at the Maiden Synod of the New Bishop of Mbamili Diocese, Anglican Communion held in Umuenwelum Anam, Anambra West Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Obi said they should rather spread the gospel that promotes good values in society.
The event, which was presided over by the Primate of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, His Grace Henry Ndukuba, saw to the coming together of clergy men, political leaders, captains of industries and men from all walks of life.
