Idris gave the warning in a broadcast to the people of the state on Friday in a reaction to the first day protest.
Minister of State for Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, stated the position on Wednesday.
The forum’s stance was conveyed through a statement by Prof. Tanko Muhammad-Baba, its National Publicity Secretary.
Governor Adeleke acknowledged that the protesters have the inalienable right as enshrined in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to embark on a protest.
Apart from FCT, the protests took place simultaneously in Lagos, Kaduna, Kano, Sokoto, Zamfara, Katsina, Jos, Bauchi, Gombe, Yobe and Adamawa states.
The protesters were seen with various placards in support of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration.
The umbrella body of all registered political parties and political associations in Nigeria in a statement signed by its Secretary General, Chief Willy Ezugwu, said it has resolved, alongside a coalition of civil society organisations, to back the Trade Union Congress and Nigerian Labour Congress in the struggle for the reversal of the increments.
