The News Agency of Nigeria recalls that Lalong on Monday sacked the former chairman of the crisis-ridden local government for “indiscipline’’.

Nazif, who was accompanied to the briefing by his counterparts from the Ministry of Works and Transport, Urban Development, Environment, Finance, Commerce and other Directors and Permanent Secretaries form other Ministries, said the briefing, which has been approved at the State Executive Council meeting is to hold every first Monday of every month
Lalong, who was represented by his Deputy, Prof. Sonni Tyoden, said the switchover to DTT was a necessity for Nigeria as a signatory to International Broadcast Union Agreement, tagged: Geneva 2006
According to a statement issued by Emmanuel Nanle, the Director of Press and Public Affairs, the government said the appointment of Lengmang was in fulfillment of Lalong’s promise to stamp out injustice and to promote peace, security and good governance in the State
“We look forward to the pilot take off of this project on the Plateau. I want to assure you that we will do all within our means to support this project and also to help so that Nigerians will have the benefit of this programme,” he said
