The Delta state Police Command, through its spokesperson, Bright Edafe, has confirmed the killing of the teacher.

Police spokesman in the state, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the rescue in a statement in Warri on Wednesday.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the deceased was interred after a funeral service held at St. Jame’s Anglican Church, Oviore-Ovu, Ethiope East Local Government Area of the state.

This followed the adoption of a motion by Deputy Senate President, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege at Thursday’s plenary.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Delta Police Command, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, disclosed this to newsmen on Tuesday evening in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria.
