Emefiele, responding to the four-count charge that was read to him at his trial before Justice Maryann Anenih of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, pleaded his innocence to the allegation.

This was revealed in the fresh four count charge filed against the former Governor of the CBN by the EFCC.
The release of the details of the fresh charges followed public enquiries on why Emefiele was dragged to another court.
