Browsing: Ekiti workers

The approval follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by the state Government and leaders of organised labour in the state. 

The policy, a statement on Friday said, was aimed at cushioning the effect of the current economic situation on workers.

The development followed a directive by the State Council of the Nigeria Labour Congress to its members to join the nationwide indefinite strike till further notice.

Fayemi gave the assurance at a news conference held at the party’s secretariat in Ado-Ekiti.
