Yusuf was sworn in on Saturday alongside four other executive members, Zainab Aliyu, who was returned unopposed as Auditor, Noah Ebije, Financial Secretary; Femi Adi, Secretary; and Shindong Bala to serve as the Assistant Secretary.
Addressing members of the Kaduna State Council in his nationwide electioneering, Atunbi said he had the vision of taking the NUJ to the “next level” and making members to feel the impact of their union through improved service delivery.
Saidu Adamu, the Counsellor to Governor Nasiru El-Rufa’i on Information and Communication, made the commitment at an interactive session with journalists held at the NUJ Secretariat in Kaduna.
The alleged masterminds – Aminu Ogwuche, Adamu Yusuf, Anas Isah, Yau Saidu, Muhammadu Ishaq and Ahmed Abubakar – were arraigned by the Department of State Services at the Federal High Court, Abuja in 2014
