Some military men said to be from the Nigerian Army attacked the residence of Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, in the early hours of Monday.
Igboho’s spokesman, Olayomi Koiki, revealed this to SaharaReporters.
Koiki said the attack was carried out in the early hours of Monday.
He said the Soldiers stormed the house, which was also recently attacked by some hoodlums, at about 2am.
He said: “Chief Sunday Igboho’s house came under attack this morning, 26th April, 2021 around 2am with heavy gunshots.
“I will be releasing more updates later in the morning.”
