Senator representing Plateau North at the National Assembly, Senator Gyang Pwajok has debunked allegation of 50 million SURE-P scandal being leveled against the State Government.
He disclosed this in an interactive session with Journalists in Jos .
Pwajok said Governor Jang was planning a mega projects in the state that will surprise many people and “when this project is unfolded all our critics will be shocked with the kind of developmental strides under the present administration’.
He advised the people of plateau against the voices of political mischief element who incite and cause hatred among the peace loving citizens of the state.
He also called on some desperate members of the syndicate group to desist from portraying the state in bad light as well as some politicians whose stock in trade is seeking for power at all cost .
Pwajok counseled other spirited individual who don’t have the extra patient of time to employ dialogue in resolving the bridges of conflict.
He expressed worried that Plateau needed total transformation but of course people should understand that lies can travel round the world while the truth will be putting it boots to go after it.
The senator commended the delegates to the national confab, appealing to them to give more priority to the issue that will sustain national sovereignty.
According to him, all the areas that the national confab delegates are deliberating upon will soon be sent to the national assembly which is a step in the right direction. “We need to restructure some part of the constitution to help this country move forward,” he said.
Speaking on the zoning of Governorship in Plateau state, Pwajok said Plateau North has the capacity to contest, regretting that some groupa are overheating the politics because of desperation.
“We are all saying that the three senatorial districts in the state also qualify to contest due to past records of candidates that show interest since 1999.
Pwajok noted that the people causing problem for PDP in the state are those who left the party.
