Ronaldo, Messi top FIFA FIFPro World XI shortlist + full list

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi top the list of nominees for FIFA’s FIFPro XI.

The list is dominated by Real Madrid players, who have club-high of 13 nominees, though the Premier League is well represented, with last season’s PFA Player of the Year and champion N’Golo Kante included.

Arsenal and Chelsea stars Alexis Sanchez and Eden Hazard are also recognised after their fine individual seasons.

More than 25,000 professional footballers took part in the poll, with the final XI to be revealed on October 23 at the Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony in London.

The final World XI will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on Oct. 23.
