The Ondo State Police Command on Sunday at about 2pm arrested a wanted Boko Haram Terrorist, Idris Ibrahim Babawo.
The terrorist, 42, is also known as Idoko and Nagada.
He is believed to be on serial number 165 on the wanted Boko Haram terrorists list.
He was handed over to the 32 Brigade, 2 Division, Nigerian Army at about 2pm on Monday by the police.
Preliminary investigation, according to the Nigerian Army, showed that the terrorist kingpin hails from Chinade village, Katagum Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
Babawo, according to available information, escaped from the North East due to military onslaught on the terrorists with a view to evade arrest and prosecution.
