Paul Pogba is close to Manchester United return after a medical at the club.
The two clubs have reportedly now agreed a €110 million fee for the 23-year-old’s sale, so Pogba has been told he can go through the formalities needed to complete the deal.
Pogba will then sign a five-year contract with the club he left in 2012 after running down his last contract with the Red Devils.
After add-ons, the fee could rise to €120 million, while United have already agreed to cover all the fees due to Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola for his cut of the transfer after he acted as an intermediary between the two clubs during negotiations.
Pogba had been due to report for Juve training on Monday, but that is unlikely to happen after the breakthrough in talks over his fee.
The deal could now be done in time for United’s Premier League opener against Bournemouth next Sunday.
