Wahid Enitan-Oshodi, the Lagos State Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Social Development, has paid tribute to the late Chief Molade Okoya-Thomas, whom he described as a great mentor, uncle and friend.
Enitan-Oshodi, who also doubles as the President of Nigeria Table Tennis Federation, described the late Chief Okoya-Thomas as a true gentleman whose commitment to youth and sports development was in a league of its own.
Enitan-Oshodi added that Okoya-Thomas set himself apart with his eagerness and unflinching commitment to give back to the society, thereby creating a benchmark that “we can all aspire to emulate”.
On a personal level, Enitan-Oshodi added that he owes a huge debt of gratitude to Okoya-Thomas, whose support, encouragement and advice will never be forgotten.
He sent his deepest condolences to the entire Okoya-Thomas family and prayed that Almighty God will console them at this difficult time.
