A commercial motorcycle rider, who was shot by the police in Lagos State on Tuesday, Adigun Atilola, is dead.
Atilola, who was shot by policemen attached to Ilupeju Police Station, left behind a six weeks old baby.
The policemen, in an attempt to enforce the new Lagos State traffic law restricting the movement of commercial motorcycle riders, popularly known as okada, shot Atilola who was attempting to flee from arrest.
