Khloé Kardashian is reportedly keen for Lamar Odom to enter rehab when he is discharged from hospital.
The basketball star has been under medical care since he was found unconscious at the Love Ranch South brothel in Nevada on October 13 after reportedly suffering a drug overdose and multiple strokes.
Now it has been claimed Lamar’s discharge from hospital is imminent, with mixed claims as to how the sportsman will continue his recovery.
Despite Lamar’s estranged wife, Khloé, apparently pushing her ex to seek further help in a rehabilitation centre, Lamar is said to be against the idea.
“Lamar will be released from the hospital in the next 10 days,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “It’s uncertain if he will go to a facility to continue physical rehab, or do it as an outpatient.
“Khloé told Lamar that after he was released from the hospital, he would need to go to rehab for substance abuse addiction. Lamar balked and said no way. Lamar is still insisting he doesn’t have a drug problem. He is still in denial.”
Khloé and Lamar put a hold on their divorce plans after the sportsman’s collapse. However, it has since been reported that Khloé has rekindled her relationship with boyfriend James Harden, and there is no chance of a reconciliation with Lamar.
Lamar has had a difficult few months following the deaths of two friends due to drug related incidents. But while he has been seeking support from Khloé, the reality star is said to be against her former spouse moving back in with her when he leaves hospital.
“Khloé has made it clear, Lamar won’t be staying with her,” the source added.“He has a loft in downtown Los Angeles, and there are other options that can be explored.”
