Ndidi reminds me of Kante – Shakespeare

Leicester City manager, Craig Shakespeare, has hailed Wilfred Ndidi following his contribution to their 2-0 victory over Stoke City on Saturday.
Ndidi scored his first goal for the club with a 25-yard stunning strike in the 25th minute against Stoke, equalling Kante’s goalscoring tally from the previous season.
Jamie Vardy secured the points for Leicester just before half-time, but Shakespeare was quick to single out his 20-year-old midfielder after the game.
“The first goal was always going to be crucial and what a goal it was. Ndidi has done that before. He’s got that in his locker,” Shakespeare told BBC Sport.
The Nigerian international has only made eight appearances this season, but Shakespeare says he is already demonstrating similarities to N’Golo Kante.
He added: “[Ndidi] is young and we don’t want to put too much pressure on him. He’s a humble boy and reminds a lot of Kante with his personality.”
