Lagos State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists will on
Friday, September 4, 2015 honour 10 of its own, who were recently
elevated in the course of their career.
These accomplished individuals, according to the Lagos NUJ chairman,
Comrade Deji Elumoye, in a statement issued in Ikeja yesterday, have
distinguished themselves and have not been found wanting either on the
job or in their character.
“We deem it fit to honour these 10 senior journalists because they
have been worthy ambassadors of our profession and have brought glory
to journalism, and that is why their recent elevation did not come to
us as a surprise.
