A former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Tony Anenih, has dispelled rumours of his own death.
Popularly known as Mr. Fix It, the social media had on Wednesday morning declared him dead.
He was said to have died of cancer-related illness.
But Anenih, on Wednesday, told Vanguard newspaper that he was alive and well.
He told Vanguard: “I am alive.
“I am well.
“The hospital they are talking about, I have not been there before.
“The doctor they are talking about, I do not know him and he does not know me; and I have not seen him.
“God is on the throne and it is only God that can call me when He believes that it is time.”
