How I saved pastor who excreted on body from embarrassment – Adeleke

A bathroom and toilet owner, Omoshe Adeleke, has revealed how she saved a pastor who excreted on her body on Sunday morning.
Adeleke, a retired nurse, who charges N20 for urinating, N50 for bathing and N50 for defecating, narrated that the pastor came to use her bathroom and toilet when he had already defecated on his body and his clothes already wet.
She said: “The pastor came into my place with his clothes wet and he was stinking. I gave him soap to wash and he called his people to meet him where he was bringing a pair of shirts and trousers and boxers.”
She stated that the pastor was happy with her and he paid even more than what was expected of him and he proceeded to the church after cleaning up.
Adeleke also lamented that a vast majority of Nigerians do not understand the implication of open defecation as many people make use of her services without paying her.
The Eagle Online reports that Nigeria is set to overtake India as number one in open defecation in the world as access to sanitation has been on the decline from 30 per cent in 2010 to 28 per cent in 2015 as It is estimated that more than 48 million Nigerians practise open defecation and the challenges are not limited to rural areas.
The Eagle Online also reports that countries where open defection is most widespread have the highest number of deaths of children aged under 5 years.
