Former league champions, Enyimba FC of Aba, are prepared to further wreck the boat of their eternal foes, Heartland, in a Week Nine tie of the Nigerian Professional Football League billed for Saturday at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, Imo State.
Heartland, popularly called the Naze Millionaires, are presently languishing on the 19th spot on the log, with six points from eight games, while their visitors, Enyimba, have gathered 11 points from seven games.
Enyimba won three games, drew two, lost two, which places them ahead of their opponents who have so far drawn six games, lost two and yet to win since the commencement of the league session.
However, the two teams are expected to unearth their age-long rival when they step out on Saturday in Owerri.
Meanwhile, the current league leaders, Sharks, will give their title chase a boost in their clash against El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri at the Sharks Stadium, Port Harcourt, while Crown FC tackles Nembe City at Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan and FC Taraba engages Rangers at Jolly Nyame Stadium.
In other fixtures, Abia Warriors will challenge Warri Wolves at Umuahia Township Stadium, Lobi Stars ambushes Kano Pillars at Emmanuel Atongo Stadium, Akwa United will welcome Sunshine Stars to Uyo Township Stadium while Nasarawa United will do battle against Dolphins in Lafia.
