The Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has sacked the state’s Accountant General, Dr. Danjuma Adamu.
The sack is with immediate effect.
Adamu is to hand over to the Director of Treasury in the Ministry of Finance, Ibrahim A. M. Kura, being the most senior.
Governor Ganduje thanked the outgoing Accountant General for the services he rendered to the State and wished him God’s guidance in his future endeavours.
No reason was given for the sack in a statement by the State’s Commissioner of Information, Youth and Culture, Malam Muhammad Garba, on Sunday.
