The Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, on Tuesday in Yola inaugurated 50 Development Areas administrators for the 21 LGAs of the state.
Bindow charged them to form people-oriented administrations in their respective areas as they are the closest government representatives to the people in the grass root.
The Chief of Staff to Bindow, Alhaji Abdulraham Abba Jimeta, called on the people of the state to support the ongoing transformation agenda, popularly known as “Bindow for Social Change.”
According to Jimeta, it is on record that no government has done what the present administration is doing in bringing rapid development to all walks of life in the State.
He however urged the Governor to empower the administrators with all what it takes to touch the lives of the people at the grass root.
He said: “I’m calling you our working Governor to do more in salvaging the life of rural populace by giving all the resources to areas development administrators to work for the benefit for those in the rural communities.”
