Alhaji Ahmed Alli Aledeh, also known as Namedi, the father of the Publisher of Gatekeepers News, Sulaiman Aledeh, is dead.
A statement by his eldest child, Hon. Hud Aledeh, confirmed the death, adding that he will be buried on Wednesday.
The burial, the statement said, was scheduled for 10am at Agbede in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.
The patriarch of the Aledeh family was said to have passed on at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital at about 2:30pm on June 18, 2023 at the age of 80.

Alhaji Aledeh, a pioneer staff of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, where he served meritoriously and voluntarily retired over two decades ago, was until his death a devout Muslim and community leader.
He is survived by his wives, children, grandchildren, and other relatives.
