A French band delighted attendees at a state dinner in Paris on Thursday by delivering a lively performance of P-Square’s hit song “Testimony (Taste the Money)” in honour of Nigerian President Bola Tinubu.
The dinner was held at the Palais de l’Élysée during Tinubu’s three-day state visit to France to foster closer diplomatic and economic relations between the two nations.
In a now-viral video capturing the evening’s highlight, the band delivered a vibrant rendition of the Afrobeat classic, seamlessly blending Nigerian rhythms with a unique French flair.
The performance earned applause from the audience, including President Tinubu and First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, visibly thrilled by the thoughtful cultural gesture.
