The Federal Government has announced a new date for the commencement of the verification exercise of the Directorate Level Officers in the Federal Public Service.
The verification was earlier suspended in view of the scope of the exercise and the thoroughness it required.
This was contained in circular tilted: “Re: Verification exercise for Directorate Level Officers in the Federal Public Service,” signed for Winifred Oyo-Ita, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, by Nuratu Batagarawa, the Permanent Secretary, Service Policy and Strategy Office in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, and made available to all Ministries, Departments and Agencies of the Federal Government.
The verification exercise is now rescheduled to take place between May 3 and June 16, 2016.
The exercise is designed to produce accurate bio-data of this level of officers for informed leadership and succession planning in the Federal Public Service.
