Operatives of the Department of State Services on Thursday stormed the Asokoro, Abuja residence of the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, The Punch is reporting.
The Punch said it learnt the operation was in connection with the secret probe into how billions of naira allocated to the war against terrorism was allegedly looted.
The operatives were said to have searched Dasuki’s house and left after some time.
It could, however, not be ascertained as at press time if Dasuki was arrested by the DSS operatives.
The Punch said it learnt that Dasuki could be invited for questioning by the DSS later over the administration of the terror funds.
Dasuki was appointed as NSA by former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2012.
He was sacked on Monday by President Muhammadu Buhari and replaced by Babagana Munguno.
