Former President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with the Chief Imam of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Sheikh Abdulwahid Sulaiman, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Fatima Abubakar Sulaiman.

According to a statement by his spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu, the Imam’s mother died at age 101 and was buried in Kaduna on Monday.

The former president said the late Hajiya Sulaiman was a simple and extraordinary person whose life of sacrifice and commitment to family shaped the character and personality of the State House Imam, who he described as neat and punctual.
