The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the Adamawa State governorship election inconclusive.
The Eagle Online recalls that the governorship election had two front runners: Governor Ahmadu Fintiri and Aisha Ahmad.
While Fintiri is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ahmad, popularly known as Binani, is the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress.
Before the declaration of INEC on Monday evening, both of them were in a tight race for the Government House.
Fintiri was leading Ahmad with about 35,000 votes.
The INEC Collation Officer for the poll said a winner could not be declared because the number of collected PVCs, at over 37,000, is more than the margin of lead by Governor Fintiri.
