 After being in detention for 13 years, a Lagos High Court sitting in Igbosere will today pronounce a verdict in the case the state brought against a former Chief Security Officer to late General Sani abacha, Major Al-Mustapha and others, for allegedly killing Kudirat Abiola, wife of late business and winner of the June 12, 1993 annulled presidential election. The case, reopened in July 2011, is being heard by Justice Mojisola Dada.
