Afenifere Ilosiwaju Yoruba, Ekiti State chapter has described the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, as a man worthy of emulation going by his leadership qualities.
According to the Chairman of the foremost Yoruba socio-cultural and political organization, Elder Yemi Alade, Fayemi has remained focused in fulfilling his campaign promises to lift Ekiti to a position of national prominence and recognition among the states of Nigeria.
According to Alade, there has never been a better time such as this for any Ekiti leader to occupy such a frontal position in national politics.
And to this end, Ekiti is the better for it because the benefits are great because of the space occupied by Fayemi, the group said.
The Afenifere Ilosiwaju Yoruba leader also praised the people of Ekiti for their cooperation and support for the governor.
He appealed for more understanding as the governor is making effort to improve on critical infrastructure such as roads, water, tourism, health agriculture and education.
Alade expressed happiness for the peace in the state, saying the era of fear has long been forgotten when governance was sporadic in nature and approach.
He urged Fayemi not to relent in his quest to build a legacy for development where the future generations will be proud of.
