Three top players in the Super Eagles: Victor Osimhen, William Troost-Ekong and Ahmed Musa, have said that the team will bite the Wild Dogs of Guinea Bissau in the last group match of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.
The last Group A match of the ongoing championship between the teams will be played in the evening of Monday.
Osimhen on Saturday said he was ready to put the misses recorded in the past games behind him and get the goals in this encounter against the Wild Dogs.
He said: “We are all ready for this and I have no doubt we will win our last group match.
“Personally, I want to make up for some of the misses in the other games so far.
“The team is set to win again.”
Troost-Ekong, in his pre-match interview, stated that the team would continue winning after the victory recorded against the host, Cote d’Ivoire, on Thursday.
He said: “We were losing some games at some point, especially friendlies, and later we were drawing games, but now, we have won and the winning streak will continue in this competition and even beyond
“The players are determined to go far in this tournament and we are all working hard by taking every game seriously.”
