Adamawa Deputy Speaker, Majority Leader, another sacked

The Speaker, Adamawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Kabiru Mijinyawa, has announced the sacking of the Deputy Speaker, Emmanuel Tsamdu, and Majority Leader, Hassan Barguma.

The Speaker revealed this to the News Agency of Nigeria in a telephone interview on Saturday in Yola.

Mijinyawa said the Deputy Majority Leader of the House, Abubakar Isa, was equally removed.

He said in the place of Tsamdu, the House has elected Lunsumbani Dili of the All Progressives Congress from Demsa Local Government Area as the new Deputy Speaker.

Muhammad Hayatu is now the Majority Leader, while  Muhammadu Sani-Shehu is the Deputy Leader.

The Speaker, however, did not give the reason for the impeachment.
