The Abia Online Media Publishers, the umbrella body for all Online Media Practitioners in Abia State, has approved the nomination of Senator Nkechi Nwaogu as the Abia State Human Resource Personality of the year.
This was contained in a statement released by the group on its Annual General Meeting and Week on Thursday.
The statement said the award on Nwaogu is in recognition of innate interest in job creation and her role in ensuring that young people in the state are gainfully employed.
It said: “She placed premium on empowering the youths of Abia State by assisting them secure federal appointments in all the public offices she had held.
“Today, several youths and indeed many families are stabilized courtesy of her and she is still unrelenting in this course.”
The Award will be presented to Nwaogu alongside other awardees at the Michael Okpara Auditorium on November 19, 2021 as part of the activities marking the groups Four-Day Annual General Meeting/Bloggers Week.
According to the planning committee, the Four-Day Bloggers Week will commence on November 16 with the arrival of visiting Bloggers from across the country, a Training Session on November 17, a tour of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s projects on November 18 to be followed by a media interactive session with the Abia State helmsman and then the AGM/Awards on November 19.
