Brazil 2014: Eagles to get $10,000 as winning bonus

The Nigeria Football Federation may have succumbed to the pressure to pay the Super Eagles a winning match bonus of $10,000 at the Brazil 2014 World Cup, revealing that it was planning to expend $690,000 as payment of match bonus in the group stage of the tournament.
In the document the federation submitted to the House of Representatives Committee on Sports on Monday, the football federation further revealed that while Head Coach, Stephen Keshi, would get $60,000 for the first round, the three assistant coaches would rake in a total sum of $135,000.
While adding that Keshi would get $20,000 winning match bonus, the three assistants would get $15,000 each, the federation further revealed: “Match winning bonus for three matches in the first round at $8,000 per match per person for the four other technical officials like the doctor, physio, welfare officer, team secretary, totalling $96,000.
“The match winning bonus for six other technical officers like second physiotherapist, psychologist, media officer, team security, first equipment manager and match analyst will get $4,000 each, totalling $ 72,000.
“The second equipment manager will get $3,000 for the first round, totalling $9000.”
