A former Vice Chancellor of the Lagos State University, Prof. Enitan Abisogun Bababunmi, is dead.
Though details of his death were sketchy as at press time on Monday, Bababunmi’s students confirmed the development.
Bababunmi was born September 1940.
He is a Professor of Biochemistry who served as the third Vice-Chancellor of the Lagos State University between 1993 and 1996.
In 2002, he was granted a patent by the United States Government after he produced a formulation that would prevent muscle atrophy in AIDS and cancer patients.
