The Rivers State Police Command has called for peace following the numerous political statements and sentiments being circulated within the state.
Most of the statements have come from the face-off between Governor Sim Fubara and former Governor Nyesom Wike.
Fubara and Wike have been at loggerheads over the control of the Peoples Democratic Party structure in the state.
But speaking in a statement by its spokesperson, Grace Iringe-Koko, the Rivers State Police Command said in light of the political developments in the state, it was informing the general public and the esteemed people of Rivers State of some certain measures.
