Remo Stars FC of Ijebu Ode has parted ways with Technical Adviser, Nduka Ugbade, after negotiations for a new contract broke down.
The club’s Media Officer, Dimeji Oshode, who made the disclosure in a statement on Friday, said negotiations with the tactician broke down on Thursday evening.
The statement said: “The parties could not reach an agreement over contract renewal.
“Nduka Ugbade will be missed by everyone at the club as we wish him the very best in his future endeavors.’’
Ugbade joined the club at the beginning of the 2015/2016 Nigeria National League.
He achieved a landmark in the club’s history as he tutored the side to attain promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League for the first time.
NAN reports that Ugbade became the second tactician to throw in the towel this season after Bala Nkiyu also parted ways with Kastina United.
The Head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, will be in charge when Remo Stars travel to Uyo to take on Akwa United on Sunday in a Match Day 6 fixture.
