As Nigerians continue preparations for the 2023 general elections, the cracks in the walls of the two leading parties: All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party, have continued to widen as both parties now have to contend with a major crisis of confidence and supremacy, thereby heating the polity in a way that keeps the smaller parties on the alert and waiting on the wings to benefit.
This was revealed by the publication’s Publisher/Editor-in-Chief, Austyn Ogannah, in a statement he issued on Saturday.
Ogannah said: “This week’s edition of THEWILL NEWSPAPER, which has on its cover, ‘2023: Crisis of Confidence, Supremacy Rock APC, PDP,’ therefore looks at the looming implosion in the governing APC as state Governors fully take over the party’s structure in their states with aggrieved members threatening fire and brimstone vowing to teach the party a bitter lesson.
“The cover story also takes a look at the dilemma the opposition PDP has suddenly found itself with its decision to throw the presidential ticket open to all zones.
“It is a must read for the understanding of the power-play ahead of the 2023 general elections.”
On DOWNTOWN, the colourful all-gloss lifestyle and culture magazine insert of THEWILL, Ogannah said it features Daniel Etim Effiong and Nancy Isime on its cover this week as they explain how they have had to be in intimate scenes and their tricks for performing flawlessly.
DOWNTOWN also returns with the regulars taking quite interesting angles to trending fashion and beauty trends, among others.
Ogannah added: :So relax and enjoy our exciting package for the week.
