The Registrar of the council, Elijah Mohammed, disclosed this while briefing newsmen on the council’s enforcement team efforts to curb activities of illegal pharmaceutical outfits in the country.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the PCN enforcement team was in the state as part its efforts to carry out its responsibilities of ensuring effective monitoring and inspection of medical facilities in the country.
Mohammed gave the assurance in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Monday in Abuja described this as part of efforts to regulate drug distribution system in the country
According to Aruya, 96 Patent and Proprietary Medicine Vendors shops were also sealed for operating illegally and stocking drugs beyond their scope.
She said: “We inspected a total of 296 facilities, which included 38 pharmacies and 258 PPMV in 23 towns across the 13 local government areas of the state
